What are we afraid of???

Its a known fact that our country is under a great crisis. In whatsoever terms, our country is facing the worst conditions at present. The question that exists is, “Is there no way out?”. We have our own country, our own government, so why can’t we get out of all this mess. The answer to this question, is quite complex. With no doubt there ain’t a single reason behind all this but a bulk of them.

Let’s talk about something really disguisting happened sometime ago that was unacceptable for most of the public.

A few months earlier, Indian Airforce jets entered the Pakistan’s territory. The air crafts were fully equiped with warheads as reported by PAF. It was entirely a violation of rules for which we could even get them on their knees to apologize for, but, only if we wanted to.

But what happened was just the opposite. Our own leaders took the favour of India even before India had clearified this violation. Prsident Zardari stated:

“It was nothing more than a technical incursion and a media overhype”.

In the same way, our information Minister Sherry Rehman stated:

“We contacted the Indian air force and they said the violation was inadvertent. We don’t want to escalate the situation,”.

It was a matter of self-respect indeed. Another countries aircrafts entered our territory and we were not even willing to take any legal action against them. As a matter of the fact, our leaders were taking there side. This act of violation might have been a check from the Indian government to see our response. And what a response we have shown so far.

Something similar had happened with China as well. American aircrafts entered their region and what was China’s response??? Far better than us. They immediatley send their airforce jets and had the American jets landed in China along with the pilots. And they refused to release them until U.S.A, the so called superpower, gets onto his knees and apologize for this violation before the entire world. And American had to do this. Just imagine, China had the superpower on its knees. Now that’s what I call self-respect!!

The countries are like Iran, though not that powerful but even then it didn’t allow Indian aircrafts to fly over its territories inorder to take part in the Red-flag air combat in the U.S.

We have everything. So what are we afraid of? Its a known fact that we are far more powerful than Iran. So if Iran can take a stand then why can’t we? We, having the best Airforce, the only airforce in the entire world that has beaten back Indian and Israel’s aircrafts at the same time in an air combat are afraid of don’t know what?

Another instance of corruption. The Drone attacks. In an interview with Hillary Clinton in her last visit to Pakistan, she told that before every Drone attack, the Pakistani government and leaders are informed about them and such attacks are accomplished only after taking their permission. It was something unbelievable indeed.

But President Zardari stated in his adress that the government of Pakistan is trying its best to prevent the country from such attacks. However, the technology of Drone attacks is not easily controlled. And after every possible effort they are unable to stop them. In simple, he stated, “We’re sorry to our public but we can’t do anything about the Drone attacks”. The same day, General Kiani in his adress stated, ” We can stop the Drone attacks within a few hours only if government permits us”.

Now just imagine the discrimination between the sayings of General Kiani and president Zardari. General Kiani revealed that Drone attacks ain’t impossible to stop. So what is thats holding our government back from giving the permission? Again the same question. What are they afraid of?

So, this is one of the greatest problems that we are facing. Our government doesn’t seem to be our own. Our government, to be honest, is indirectly led by foreign interference. If you remember the words of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto:

“It is not a desi(local) conspiracy. It is an international conspiracy.

It is the truth with no doubt. Our country Pakistan is under international conspiracy. And to get over them, it is required from us not to indulge in the internal politics and better pay heed to what’s going on around us. But unforunately, our government does not even know what its responsibilites are. The government doesn’t know what it is supposed to do. It is completely drowned in the internal politics and is unaware about the conspiracies that are eating our country from the inside.
