Tennessee Lt. Gov Ramsey’s “False” Allegations On Islam
Tennessee Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey is currently a member of Republican Party, stated publicly that Islam is arguably less a faith than a cult. “Now, you could even argue whether being a Muslim is actually a religion, or is it a nationality, way of life, cult whatever you want to call it”. Later Mr. Ramsey asked the American Muslims to denounce the extremism and terrorism. “My concern is that far too much of Islam has come to resemble a violent political philosophy more than peace-loving religion. It is time for American Muslims who love this country to publicly renounce violent jihadism and to drum those who seek to do America harm out of their faith community.”
Now here’s a little analysis of his statement. First of all, such a statement is directly against the constitution. The constitutional protections are never designed for some selective group of people. Every country of the world, provides constitutional protection to it’s minorities, regardless of cast, creed or religion. So if anyone gives such a statement, he is either disobeying the constitution or it depicts that the constitution of that particular country cannot provide protection to it’s minorities, which is indeed a shame for the country. Ramsey’s statement depicts that he was denying the fundamental rights and the protection to the diversified population of U.S.A.
The reasons for what he gave this statement remains still unknown. Because their ain’t any element of terrorism in Islam. Islam has always been a polite religion and has always been preaching, politeness and kindness even with the foes. Then how come anyone expect that the Muslims could cause some kind of security threat to the nations’ identity. The problem begins, when people start judging a religion on the basis of minorities and refuse to focus on the majorities of the religion. If some people belonging to the religion are bad or if they do not match up to the fundamentals of humanity, it certainly doesn’t mean that the religion is bad as a whole. And basically, all those terrorists, Ramsey was talking about don’t belong to any religion. Muslims have been reminding the world over and again that these terrorists do not belong to Islam as there is no single evidence in Islam that promotes or allows terrorism.
Previously, Mr. Ramsey stated that he is not sure if the constitutional guarantees of freedom of religion apply to Muslims or not. Undoubtedly, every Muslim country provides complete freedom of religion to its people. Why? Because the ideology of freedom of religion actually belongs to Islam. And if the constitution of America can’t provide this freedom to the Muslims, then this constitution is nothing more a shame.
As I stated, Muslim countries provide complete freedom of religion to its non-Muslim minorities. I do know that some of you might disagree as some of the Churches were banned in Saudi Arabia also. About this, I want to remind you that one can never even imagine a concept of Mosque inside a Vatican. Many European countries like Athens and Greeks, do not even allow Muslims to have their own places for worship and so their prayers are confined only to the boundary of their own houses.
However, the noticeable fact here is that Christians are living in Saudi Arabia and many of the other Islamic countries in a perfect harmony and peace. So the occurrence of a few such accidents can never be taken as a rule.
In Egypt, the percent of Churches per Christian, is more than the percent of Mosques per Muslim, though the Christians are just 6% or 8% at max. They have all the constitutional protections and you can never even imagine to discriminate between them except at the place of worship.
Coming towards another point. People talk about Al-Qaida and Taliban groups. They say that these are the MUSLIM terrorist groups. And making them the base, they even impose this foolish blame on Islam to be a religion that promotes and allows terrorism and extremism. Lets just have a glimpse at the history of these groups.
Both the groups were made by the U.S.A. in the late eighties of the previous century as they wanted them to fight against the Soviet Union which was invading middle east through Afghanistan as this region could be unimaginably profitable for them. They are terrorist or not? Its another issue. Even if they are terrorists, they are made by U.S.A. And by the way, who is the greatest victim of terrorism in the whole world? Undoubtedly, the answer is, MUSLIMS.
The first incident that caused Americans to say that Muslims are terrorists was 9/11. Let me remind you that the official report of the case could not provide any true evidence that says Muslims did that. Then on what basis Muslims were regarded as extremists and terrorists?? Whenever you go through the report, at instances, you feel like reading jokes more than a forensic report. It seems like someone had tried to make fun of human mind. Many important witnesses were never allowed or even stopped by force to be interrogated by the FBI or CIA. Let’s try to make a little use of our minds and think WHY?
Moving ahead, lets just think about the benefits that Muslims have gained. MUSLIMS have gained just nothing except the killing and ruling of their homelands by foreign invaders and creating this hate for Islam in other countries that is sometime regarded as Islamophobia. Can anyone like this to happen? So in simple, Muslims didn’t gain any benefit. Lets make a little more use of our mind to think who got the benefits out of it,to reach the conclusion, of who did it or atleast let it happen?

After all these instances and elaboration, if one still impose sanctions on Muslims alone and regard them as terrorist, there is only one thing that can be said about them:
